| In a wooded area just south of the motorway, you will encounter the Roman water conduit. It supplied the town with fresh water from the south via a tall aqueduct. The tunnel-like section is approximately 10 m long and it is possible to walk into a short segment of it, which provides a good insight into its complex construction. It is built similarly to the wastewater cloaca at the central baths. You can study a small section of this water conduit opposite the Roman Museum. | ||
