Seit der Eröffnung des Römerhauses im Jahre 1955 begleitete der von Rudolf Laur-Belart verfasste «Kleine Führer» durch die Domus Romana, das Römerhaus. Mit den zwei neuen Broschüren will die Römerstadt Augusta Raurica ihren Besucherinnen und Besuchern im Kinder- und Erwachsenenalter das seit März 2001 neu eingerichtete Römerhaus näher bringen: Im Heft «Komm mit ins Römerhaus!» mit spielerischem Flair und lebendigen Comic-Zeichnungen und im Heft «DOMVS ROMANA. Das Römerhaus» mit Hintergrundiformationen zu den Themen Alltag, Wohnen und Familie:

Das dreisprachige Heft führt die Besucherinnen und Besucher durch die Wohn- und Gewerberäume des renovierten und neu ausgestatteten Römerhauses. Dabei kommen das römische Haus, die Familie sowie die Handwerker und Gewerbetreibenden zur Sprache. Das Heft ist ein Begleiter durch die Privaträume, den Garten, die Werkhalle sowie die Schankstube des Römerhauses und behandelt in verständlicher Sprache geschrieben und mit schönen, grossformatigen Farbfotos Möblierung und Ausstattung des Hauses.

Ever since it first opened in 1955, visitors have been accompanied through the Domus Romana, the Roman House, by the "Little Guide" written by Rudolf Laur-Belart. With its two new booklets, the Roman Town of Augusta Raurica would like to introduce its visitors, children and grown-ups, to the newly refurbished Roman House, which opened to the public in March 2001. In the booklet "Come and See the Roman House", lively comic strips introduce the topic with fun and flair, while "DOMUS ROMANA. The Roman House" gives background information on the themes of everyday life, domestic habits and the family:

This booklet, in three languages, guides visitors through the domestic rooms and the commercial premises of the newly renovated and refurbished Roman House, at the same time discussing the Roman house and family as well as artisans and tradespeople. The booklet is a guide through the private rooms, the garden, the workshops and the public bar of the Roman House, describing the furniture and decorations in easily accessible language and with beautiful, large-scale colour photographs.

Depuis son ouverture en 1955, la visite de la maison romaine s'accompagnait du «Petit guide» de Rudolf Laur-Belart. En mars 2001, la rénovation complète de la maison romaine s'est terminée et la Ville Romaine d'Augusta Raurica propose donc deux brochures aux visiteurs, présentant la maison sous ses nouvelles couleurs. L'une s'adresse aux jeunes visiteurs et leur offre sous le titre «Suis-nous dans la maison romaine» un guide attrayant et gaiement illustré. La seconde est destinée aux adultes et s'intitule «DOMVS ROMANA. La maison romaine». Elle fournit des informations intéressantes (en trois langues) sur la vie quotidienne de la famille romaine et conduit le visiteur de pièce en pièce, le faisant passer des appartements privés au jardin intérieur, aux ateliers d'artisans et à la taverne. Elle est agréable à lire et est illustrée de remarquables photos grand format présentant le nouvel ameublement de la maison entièrement repeinte.
