Kaiseraugst – the picturesque village inside the Roman fort


Take a stroll with us through the sleepy village centre of Kaiseraugst. On the way, discover the huge remains of the late-Roman fort, stop off at the baths to find out what “wellness” meant in Roman times, visit the building in the Schmidmatt where merchants and artisans plied their trades, and listen to the dramatic stories surrounding the destruction of the fort and the largest silver hoard of late antiquity.
Participants in guided tours from 12 years of age are required to wear a face mask.
Duration: 1 hour

Group size: 20 persons max.

Please note:
- The tour does not include a visit to the Augusta Raurica Museum.
- Unfortunately, the tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility
Wearing a mask within the museum is mandatory for people over the age of 12.
