Excavations for schools – be an archaeologist for a day
Unfortunately, this offer is only available in German.
How do objects end up in a museum? The day traces the path from the excavation to the museum display case. Using shovels and trowels students bring to light evidence from the Roman past. They talk about what they have found and learn about the secrets the objects reveal about the lives of our forebears. An exclusive visit to the stone depository allows them to look behind the scenes of the Roman town.
Unfortunately, this workshop cannot be carried out at the moment.
However, we certainly have other offers that your class will enjoy.
Ideas can be found here.
