Children's birthday party: Roman bread baking
Fragrant breads are made in the ancient way in this special birthday workshop.
Working as a team, we grind the grain into flour in the ancient Roman mill. Each child then makes their own loaf of bread. We keep an eye on the fire in the oven. The heat must be just right to get the bread nice and crispy. Everybody gets to take home a delicious loaf of bread at the end. There will also be a small surprise for the birthday child.
