Setting off from the big bronze model of the town, you will discover everything on this introductory tour which is worth knowing about the public life of a Roman town.

You will see round the Roman house, with its authentic furnishings and fittings, admire the largest silver hoard of Roman antiquity and be transported back in time, for a moment, to join the Roman audience at a thrilling spectacle being performed in the imposing theatre.

The roman house has a mobile ramp, the museum and the theatre are wheelchair accessible.

Folding chairs can be borrowed free of charge from the museum.

This guided tour provides a lot of information. There are copies and originals of Roman artefacts to look at.
Participants can leave the tour at any time and return to the programme at a later moment.
