Experience Roman cuisine
In this cookery course, we will revive the flavours of antiquity – once again, made possible by archaeological research.
Together, we will prepare and enjoy a Roman feast. After a brief look through ancient sources and archaeological findings, we will prepare the ancient recipes in our rustic bakery – without electricity. This course will end with a shared meal and drink.
This course is organised by the Volkshochschule beider Basel.
The next course date will be announced in February 2026.
