Gustatio romana – Roman appetizers homemade

Roman cuisine and its varied delicacies are still known to us today thanks to the antique recipe collection of the Roman cook Marcus Gavius Apicius.

In the bakery of Augusta Raurica, you will prepare appetizers according to Roman instructions and learn exciting facts about the food culture of 2,000 years ago. Finally, you will enjoy the prepared dishes in a cozy get-together.

The workshop takes place in unheated rooms. Warm clothing is recommended in cool weather.
An apron or clothes that can get dirty are recommended. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
